SubWersion is a surreal, feminist collage series that caricatures the pressures imposed on women by society. Each work presents an inverted map of societal expectations, transforming a human being into a hollow, mechanized assemblage—drained of vitality, reduced to a robotic presence or monstrous caricature. From the rituals of marriage and office conformity to the commodification of care, the series exposes the intrinsic sadism embedded in these cultural scripts. As the woman awakens, she channels her creative force into a subversive revolt, reclaiming autonomy and transforming herself into a radical, idealized figure ready to defy the absurdities imposed on her.
